Originally from Columbia, South Carolina, Dr. Steven Dotson, D.C., is happy to call Texas home. He proudly serves as Clinic Director and Owner of Cornerstone Health & Wellness, PLLC since March 2014. Dr. Steve earned his bachelor’s degree in biological science from Excelsior College.

He then went on to Sherman College and achieved his doctorate of chiropractic. During his time at Sherman College, he was awarded the ‘Rising Star’ in appreciation of his contributions, time and commitment to the chiropractic profession, the public and the college. Dr. Steve is also an extension faculty doctor with the Community Based Internship Program (CBI) of Parker University. He enjoys mentoring upcoming doctors of chiropractic.

Dr. Steve proudly served our country in the U.S. Army as a military police officer. During his time in the military, he received numerous army achievement awards and commendation medals.

Dr. Steven is married to his lovely wife Melanie and has two handsome sons and one beautiful daughter, Payton, Ian and Mia. He loves spending time with family and friends, playing golf, riding motorcycles, reading, and being outdoors.

Lauren Teel

Lauren was born and raised in Colleyville, Texas, and spends much of her time reading, traveling, studying, and enjoying time with friends and family. She graduated from Texas Tech University with a degree in Human Sciences and Psychology.

Over the past seven years, Lauren has served in the healthcare field, supporting patients in memory care facilities and rehabilitation centers, and she finds her work deeply rewarding. She serves as Dr. Steve’s right hand, assisting with scheduling and helping patients receive treatments such as PiezoWave/SoftWave therapy, InvisaRed laser body contouring, cervical and lumbar spinal decompression, and ozone steam sauna sessions.

In addition, Lauren is currently working toward obtaining her Texas real estate license. She draws strength each day from her faith in Jesus Christ as she strives to be the best version of herself.
